Elaine & Scott Harris

Let us introduce ourselves! We are full-time journalists for over a decade covering resorts, spas, fine dining, wine,  spirits and luxury travel. Our travels have taken us all over the US, Europe and the fabulous resort of Rosewood Mayakoba in Carmen de Playa Mexico.

We recently returned from the Valais Region of Switzerland where we explored adventure, several Michelin restaurants, vineyards, 5 star resorts high in the alps and even cooked with a renown Swiss Chef! Shortly after returning, we were in Big Sur to experience its resurgence after the closure.

Now a little about us. We are a husband and wife writing duo and sommeliers through the Court of Master Sommeliers. Currently, we are staff writers for TheDailyMeal in New York as well as journalists for several luxury publications in Las Vegas and Europe.

We also have our own website Cuisineist.com and almost 300 videos featuring celebrity chefs, winemakers, sommeliers and Food Network stars on our YouTube channel VinoLasVegas (Cuisineist Confidential )  Our work has had us Kayaking, Hot Air Ballooning, milking goats and cows, purveying with world-class chefs, EBiking, cooking with chefs and hiking everywhere from the Swiss Alps to Arizona.

We are very active on social media and are known throughout the world as a one-stop shop when looking for a journalist to cover a travel story. We do our own photography, social media and writing, much of it “Live” on social media when on assignment.
